I’m hitting the Pause button on this series, because I think it’s important to do so. So often we get caught up in the ‘getting’ and ‘doing,’ that we are no longer living in harmony; we are no longer living in balance and it shows. We are anxious and tired. Our tempers flare easily and we don’t know why. We are frustrated and unhappy; we may even be miserable…so we end up making those around us miserable too. Sometimes we have to pause our attitudes to Stop the Insanity. . . . → Read More: Pause- by Olivier Verne

Late fees, overdraft fees, over-the-limit fees. Fees, fees, fees. Uggh. We’ve all been hit with one, at one time or another. I’ll even go so far as to say that if someone claims not to have ever incurred these fees, s/he probably has a faulty memory…or is like 18 years old. And for some of us, it’s one time and another, and another and another. So now we have even less money. And to fix that, we have to ‘rob Peter to pay Paul,’ and the vicious cycle continues. Pretty crazy, right? . . . → Read More: Stop the Insanity!

I just don’t think we have to choose one or the other; I believe we can be both wealthy and spiritual. First, I think the qualities refer to two different aspects of our lives. Brace yourself, because we’re about to go deep, and get down and dirty for a minute. This belief comes from our feelings of inadequacy rather than just faulty thinking, but it, too, is a myth nonetheless. Some of us grew up hearing extremely negative messages like “You’ll never amount to anything,” “You can’t do anything right,” or even worse, “You were a mistake.” Those words cut us deeply, to our core, and we took them to heart. . . . → Read More: Why Am I Always Broke? It may seem almost ‘funny’ (although is not ‘funny’ at all!) how we sometimes behave out of frustration. We go out there trying to ‘wrestle’ our situations to the ground, grabbing things by the horns; trying to change things we don’t like or agree with…by force. In the work of our efforts, we just end up exhausted, frustrated and without having accomplished much of what we were really intending to do. . . . → Read More: Would you like to grow your business and improve your relationships both at the same time? Somebody’s results do not dictate your own under any circumstance even if they live in your same street and are into the same business (yes, you can breath now). This ‘confusion’ only occurs at the level of the mind and its limited perception, since your soul in its eternal wisdom is deeply aware of its own ‘journey/path’ and it would never get confused before some one’s experience. . . . → Read More: Does somebody else’s experience dictate your own?
